Snow in the View and Dancing too!

Hi friends and family. Plainview had snow and ice... again. The girls and I stayed home yesterday. We were a bit on the lazy side but did manage to get a romp in the snow :)!!!

Neely is in St. Louis with Tracy, Paul, Andrew, Daniel and David. Congrats to Andrew on a win last night!!! Neely went to see Andrew's last regular season hockey game of his senior year. So glad he got out of town during all the miserable weather.

On another exciting note... I caught Laura singing and dancing this morning. The two videos below are her renditions of "Deep and Wide" and "Hot Dog"! Enjoy! I am also posting a couple pics of the girls in the snow yesterday.

New Glasses

Here are a few pics of the girls tonight. They were looking cute together at bedtime and thought I would snap a few new pics of Kyla's new frames. Thanks Uncle John!!!!

Happy New Year!

Happy New Year friends and family. The girls, Neely and I have enjoyed some great time together this new year. Here are a couple of pictures of the girls in 2010 and a video of Kyla's rendition of the famous wedding dance Youtube video. It is slow at first, but she picks it up at the end...;)

Nutcracker and the Frog Princess

Saturday was a special day for both girls. Kyla And I went to see the Nutcracker Ballet in Lubbock. Memaw and Aunt Clarissa met us there. It was beautiful and Kyla especially liked the mice in the Mouse King's army. :) She was also fascinated by the orchestra pit and of course the Sugar Plum Fairy. Aunt Clarissa bought her a nutcracker ornament and then she won a nutcracker statue at the end of the show!

Laura and Neely went to see the new Disney movie The Princess and the Frog. Laura loved it! She loved the frog princess and the alligator that played the trumpet. Fun times had by all!

Christmas Shirts by Memaw

We woke up this morning to a winter wonderland in Plainview Tx! I guess we had dense fog from around 7pmlast night until 8am this morning and it all froze! It was dangerous but beautiful. The girls wore their new christmas shirts that Memaw made them to school and Mrs. Sharon's house today. Very cute! The countdown for Christmas break is officially 8 days and counting!!

Santa

The family loaded up and went to the Fair Theatre tonight to enjoy Christmas Storytime and a visit with Santa! After storytime we watched the Plainview Christmas Parade in 27 degree temp and snow flurries. Fun times! We also went to the Brew and visited with the Chavez and Malone Families. Kyla and I enjoyed a yummy WARM Chai Tea. Thanks Nee! Merry Christmas everyone!
